L'eau Majeure D'issey Cologne by Issey Miyake, L'eau Majeure D'issey, translating from the French to ‘major water’, was launched in 2017. It is a refreshing cologne with notes that make it ideal for wearing every day. The brand declares that the inspiration for this scent came from ‘the ferocity of the sea’ and this is apparent in the aroma of this exciting fragrance. It opens with fruity top notes of grapefruit and bergamot. The middle notes are fresh with salt accord, ambergris and marine notes. The base notes ensure that the cologne has a depth to it and consist of cashmeran and woods.

Issey Miyake was born in 1938, in Hiroshima, Japan. Soon after studying graphic design in his country of birth he traveled to France and the United States working for designers that included Guy Laroche, Geoffrey Beene and Givenchy. In 1970, he returned to Japan to launch his label, naming it after himself. The brand launched its first perfume in 1992. All products are original, authentic name brands.
